Heated Flooring

Heated flooring distributes warmth throughout the home by heating the floor.

This is a network of piping, which is installed under the floor that circulates hot water (between 30º-45ºC), increasing the floor temperature and heating the home.

Unlike radiators, with heated flooring the thermal heating emission is much higher across the entire surface, which means lower temperatures and less energy is needed to distribute the same thermal power.

Installation is very simple since the water circulates through pipes, which are arranged on a prefabricated coil, generating heat.

This low temperature system provides huge savings, combining efficient heating systems, such as geothermal, aero-thermal and solar energy. Another advantage is annoying radiators are no longer needed and also it provides uniformed heat distribution throughout the house while the negative effects of air (such as dryness) generated by other systems are avoided.

The only draw back of heated flooring we´ve heard from customer feed back is that it takes a while to notice once it is switched on, but as soon as it has reached the desired temperature it provides great comfort.
